Make a difference! Volunteers are vital to Respiratory Health Association's success. Each year, volunteers place thousands of thank you calls, hand out countless cups of water and bananas to event participants and help with numerous other projects and efforts!
We rely on our office volunteers for a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, word processing, filing and general support. Office volunteering is a great fit for people who wish to have a set volunteering schedule or for people who prefer to sit while they work. For more information, contact Grizelda Salazar.
Our special events could not run smoothly and efficiently without our dedicated volunteers. Joining us for an event is a great way to become familiar with our organization, supporters and staff. It's also a great way to preview our events before you participate! Each event is different, and for the most part, no experience is required. For more information, contact Grizelda Salazar.
Be an Advocate
Respiratory Health Association relies on advocates to educate and inform legislators about lung health. Through the support of numerous volunteer advocates, we were able to pass legislation for smoke-free Illinois, regulation of radon and clean air protections. Our opportunities to get involved include e-advocacy, state and federal advocacy days, and more. For more information, contact Matt Maloney.
