World TB Day
Each year, World TB Day is recognized to commemorate the discovery of the bacillus that causes tuberculosis (TB). On this day around the world, people involved in TB programs and non-governmental organizations come together to discuss their efforts and support worldwide TB control.
In observance of World TB Day, the Metropolitan Chicago Tuberculosis Coalition (MCTC) and its' membership partners celebrate the work of TB controllers and disaster responders in Chicago and the State of Illinois.
