Courage to Quit is composed of seven 1 ½ sessions delivered over 8 weeks. Sessions are led by trained group leaders, and cover the following key topics:
- Understanding why you smoke
- Your reasons for quitting
- Smoking cessation medications
- Social support
- Preparing for quitting
- What to expect after you quit
- Managing cravings and withdrawal symptoms
- Relapse prevention
The Courage to Quit program is open to any individual over the age of 18 interested in quitting smoking.
