Quit Smoking Programs
Respiratory Health Association of Metropolitan Chicago offers various resources to help individuals quit smoking and live smoke-free lives:
Courage to Quit is a group or one-on-one quit smoking program built upon proven tobacco dependence treatments. Led by our trained group leaders, Courage to Quit offers information, practice skills, and social support to help participants achieve smoke-free goals.
Healthy Lungs Initiative is a partnership between Respiratory Health Association and the Cook County Health and Hospitals System. Through Healthy Lungs Initiative, a staff of trained Lung Health Educators provides tobacco cessation counseling to residents of Cook County and in multiple health care or social service settings. Asthma and COPD education are also offered.
