The half-day conference included the following educational sessions:
A. Living it up with COPD - learn breathing techniques and helpful items
designed to improve your ability to complete daily routines.
B. Home oxygen: don't leave home without it! - learn about the role of
oxygen in COPD, the benefits of using oxygen, risks of going without and
equipment options for use at home and/or away.
C. COPD medications and you - learn about medications used to treat and
manage COPD symptoms, medication side effects and the use of new HFA
inhalers. The day also includes: morning refreshments, alpha-1 antitrypsin
