February: "Let's Talk About Exercise the COPD Way"
The Alpha-1 Association will host a support group Tuesday, February 7, for individuals, caregivers and family members with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency & COPD. "Let's Talk About Exercise the COPD Way" will feature speaker Amy Castillo, PT, MPT, SCS, CSCS. It will be held at Community Hospital Fitness Pointe in Munster, Ind., from 5:30-8 p.m.

Support group meetings are open to patients, friends, family members and caregivers. There is no cost to attend. To attend, please RSVP by February 1 to chicagoalphas@live.com. For more information, view the support group flier.

November: Living Better Together COPD Conference
Living Better Together is a half-day educational conference that features speakers, breakout sessions and exhibits on living better with COPD.

June: Cruising with COPD
More than 500 people representing 50 pulmonary rehabilitation groups join us each June for Cruising with COPD. Pariticpants enjoy a luncheon cruise on Lake Michigan while being entertained by singing ship staff and meeting other people who are living with COPD. Click here for more information.
