Target Audience: This program is intended for individuals with a strong working knowledge of asthma education and management. This course will also benefit those seeking an overall review of asthma.
Faculty: Our faculty is comprised of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and respiratory therapists with vast experience in pediatric and adult asthma management. Their experience includes asthma management within hospital, clinic, school, academic, and community settings.
Format: Workshop includes lectures, case studies, and small group discussion. The hands-on demonstration stations promote one-on-one learning and formal validation of asthma related skills. Participants receive lecture outlines, management tools, practice case studies, patient education materials, and a copy of the AE-C Candidate Handbook.
