Advocacy Days
Each year, Respiratory Health Association of Metropolitan Chicago hosts trips to the state and federal capitols to advocate for lung health. On these trips, participants have the opportunity to share their state and federal action agenda and stimulate discussion on lung research and education programs with legislators.
The advocacy days also provide legislators with access to an independent lung health community that is vibrant and dedicated to protecting and promoting lung health and supporting research for lung diseases such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), lung cancer, LAM, ARDS, pulmonary fibrosis, tuberculosis and sarcoidosis.
